This is the first theme in which I tried not to use white and grey, but a muted yellowish-dark-brown color palet.
Designed to be light, crisp, and simple, this theme is thoroughly built and tested to provide a nice desktop environment.

The theme only provides a GTK3-theme, with dark-support, and a matching gnome-shell. It is built for the Gnome-DE.

1.3-B Added one theme with support for XFCE 4.16 , with basic GTK2 support (see last screenshots)
1.3 Major refinements and polishing to make it perfect. Introduction of new colors.
1.2 update to correct padding in nautilus pathbar
1.1 update gives two new accent-colors (orange and purple), matching gnome-shells and a solid (non-transparent) version of each variant. So now there are 12 themes to choose from.

Important:

This theme is developed for the gnome DE. It works on GTK3.22 to GTK3.29, and GTK3.32/34/36/38, NOT GTK 3.30.
There is no support for other DE's and Gtk-2.0. There is, however one theme with XFCE(4.16)-support (and GTK2) available

How to install:

Download the theme of your choice

Just copy the extracted file to a '.themes'-folder you make in your home directory.
Then use the Tweak Tool and select the theme.

LOG OUT AND BACK IN for changes to take full effect!

Both themes are Stunning I have been waiting this type of theme and final is here! the only down side for me is the gnome shell which is not a match for this perfect theme but I will manage that. Thank you very much PAULXFCE by the way I'm a Fan of you work :) much appreciated

one more thing. if it is posable. Can you remove that ugly vertical line http://www.picshare.ru/uploads/201124/CEO07Ygx7C.jpg. I found some method, but I think it's not right way. Any solution. Plz.

@paulxfce I love your work. But I've been looking for something like this for a while. This is beautiful and deviates from all the osx like colors or the darker ones. Both the regular and the dark themes are pleasing to the eyes. Please don't abandon this theme. Thanks.

I fully agree with that. And it took me an insane amount of trials to get some sort of color scheme. Still, I am not really satisfied. Muted colors are by definition less crispy. So it remains a challenge.

Maybe a change in the accent color(s) could help.
Something clearer. In the likes of orange or purple maybe?

Thank you! I was hoping to make it xfce compatible. Now lets hope you make the dark version compatible too. Improvements for GTK2 would be also welcome. But it is still a solid 10 for me.

10 the best. Congratulations and thank you for this new version ! I've been waiting for an amber or champagne version for a long time. A suggetion concerning the dark version, I find that the lettering is too bright, "too white". I would have seen something similar to your "Alu-Night-straight" or "Cameo-ALU-Night" version, ie softer, less white, less contrasting lettering.

10 the best Hey, I got your email alert and tested the desert and desert dark, for me the desert dark is WOW it and the gnome shell to match perfect I test some apps like Inkscape, Thunderbird, Brave browser, gedit etc...it looks awesome, the only one that didn't changed was gimp it still creamish colour. the desert and desert solid gnome shell are the same as the desert dark I'm not sure if this is part of your plans? so far a run desert and open all my apps and it's perfect!
