Description:

The Xfce Evolution theme attempts to rid the Xfce desktop of visual distractions by providing a more consistent look (buttons, scrollbars, menus, etc) across older and newer applications.

If you like this theme please rate it so that other people can find it more easily.

-------
Based on Ambiance:gtk2, Adwaita:gtk3, and Greybird:xfwm.

Blends well with 'elementary Xfce darkER' icon set and 'Noto Sans 9' fonts (see the INSTALL file in package).

Developed and tested on Xubuntu 17.04.

I tried the Greybird variant and it may be buggy?
The taskbar is dark, but the menu checboxes show a red dot when they're checked. Same with the arrows at the bottom and top of the vertical scrollbar, which only show a red dot..

works at my end, you had a similar problem before and it was because your archive manager was not extracting the symlinks. The solution that worked for you was to use the command line 'unzip', so try to extract the archive with unzip in terminal (btw, using the command line 'unzip' is the way it should be done, see 'Xfce Evolution/INSTALL' file)

Indeed, I first extracted it within Peppermint and copied over to my Xubuntu partition.
I extracted within Xubuntu and it was oksy then,

I really appreciate your work. It's great that some people still make themes that aren't flat. Especially the different color schemes are amazing!

There was a lot more variety in terms of desktop themes a few years ago. Now everyone's on the flat-design train and everything looks the same.
I think themes with depth give your eyes something to grasp. It makes everything feel a bit less abstract and more familiar.

Remember the themes from Win98 Plus/ME? There were so many color schemes, icons, wallpapers that actually represented a theme. It allowed you to express yourself and what you like and it also made you feel at home in your desktop environment.
I think that kind of variety and choice is important, especially for people who have to work with their computer a lot.

Remember Win98 Plus: uh oh, i even remember Win 95 Plus! And actually i remember them quite well, i used Win 7 with 'classic' theme (which looks just like Win 95) until i switched to linux. As a matter of fact, the lack of Win 95 theme was *THE* reason i switched, believe it or not :)))

Great theme.
I have read the Hacking section of the Install file.
Honestly, for me, this theme would be perfect if it had a dark panel (XFCE) sub-theme.
:)
Cheers!

Can you please make a Bluecurve version?
blue = #6674CC
Thanks in advance! :)

i don't understand what you mean by "bluecurve version", i can only change the main colors for a "sub-theme", i cannot change the way each widget looks. You mean you'd like to have a "sub-theme" with the window main color #6674CC ?

As far as i can see in google images, the "bluecurve" theme has a gray color for the windows, am i wrong?

I meant the blue color only.
Could use the Greybird sub-theme, but with the bluecurve blue instead, for example.
